Focus On - Magnesium
|
One of the most important minerals in your body is magnesium. It is needed for energy production, healthy cellular function, bone strength, health blood pressure and food metabolism. Many people are deficient in magnesium and they may experience any of the following symptoms:
- fatigue
- constipation
- poor sleep
- muscle cramps
- twitching muscles
- mild depression
- headaches
- migraines
- high blood pressure
- muscle tension
Foods that contain magnesium include green vegies, grains, nuts, legumes and even chocolate, however, it may be difficult to gain enough magnesium through the diet. There are different forms of magnesium available in supplements and some are far better absorbed by the body than others. We prefer to use practitioner-only supplements that contain chelated magnesium. We have found that our clients enjoy excellent improvements in their energy and state of health when they take a good quality magnesium supplement. If you suspect you have a magnesium deficiency, we can determine if this is this case and put you on the path to greater health. | |
