It's far better to prevent catching a cold or the flu in the first place and that's where naturopathic medicine is brilliant!
Happy reading and keep healthy!

Therapy - Naturopathic Nutrition
| Naturopathic Nutrition integrates scientific based nutrition with the principles of naturopathic medicine. The therapy is a holistic approach to health including the use of health and lifestyle counselling, diet advice and the use of appropriate nutritional supplementation.
Detoxification programmes are often recommended to clients to get them on the right track before treatment of other conditions begins. Often a good well-balanced detox will improve symptoms without any other treatment. One of the other most important ways to improve health through the use of naturopathic nutrition is to assess and treat digestive problems. A healthy body begins with a health digestive system.

Your Guide - Cholesterol
|
Heart disease is one disease you don't want to ignore and statistics are showing that heart disease is still up there in the list of major causes of death in Australia.
The first risk factor health professionals look at is your lipid profile - in simple terms the quantity of cholesterol and specific fats in your blood. Another risk factor that cluey health professionals check is your homocysteine levels. Homocysteine is a normal by-product of various functions in your body. However, when it is raised, it indicates that all is not well. A raised homocysteine level is associated with a greater risk of heart disease. Make sure you ask Jan or Pamela, or your GP, to send you for a lipid profile test and a homocysteine test to get the full picture. more | |
