Food-Body-HealthWelcome

It's about your health and vitality

Welcome to my December news - the final for 2009.

This month is a tricky time for being health-conscious, particularly over Christmas and New Year. My major tips for managing this in the best way possible are below.

I have uploaded my latest Natural Solutions columns for you to read as well as the latest Wellness Reviews on topics such as treating inflammation, all about helicobactor pylori infections and a magnesium update. Lots of great reading in my articles section for you.

If you find that you're feeling sluggish after the festive fun, you might want to consider doing my detox program in the new year to get 2010 off to a great health-boosting start. I'll be doing mine of course and can recommend it wholeheartedly. I'm not talking about the lemon detox or any other radical elimination detox, my detox is very practical and manageble and you can get on with your life while you're on the program. My Detox Cookbook outlines the whole program and gives you around 100 recipes to enjoy. I have the book on special at present for $29 and it usually retails at $35.

Starting on 8th February I will be running my Art from the Heart Course once again. See below for more information. People who joined the course this term might just want to continue on with the classes in the new year. They have been going so well and creating some fabulous art works this term.

My clinic will be closed after the 19th December, opening for 2010 on Thursday 7th January. Don't forget to let me know if you need supplements posted or ordered to keep you going until my return. If you have been keeping a food diary for me recently, I might even give you a couple of weeks off that too.

I wish you and your family a very joyful and wonderful Christmas and may your 2010 be healthy, happy and enjoyable in every way.

Merry Festive Season!

Meditation into Creations

I will be running my Art from the Heart course in February 2010. The course in this last term of 2009 has been going very well and is such a pleasure to teach. It is a very relaxing and therapeutic way to start your week. I particularly love seeing the creative joy that has developed during the term.

Many people believe they cannot create art because they have not learnt drawing techniques. However, Art from the Heart is an expression of the inner self. To attend this course you don't need artistic ability. Nor do you need meditation experience. However, those that do may find they will tap into greater creative energy to enhance their artistic abilities and meditation experience. Some people discover creative talents they didn't know they had.

Food-Body-HealthFestive Tips

Many people ask me how to manage Festive season eating so they don't overdo it to the detriment of their weight and wellbeing. The main issue at this time of year is overeating and under exercising. And, drinking more alcohol and more often than usual. You no doubt have heard me say "if you don't burn those kilojoules, you'll wear them - on your tummy and hips!." With this in mind, follow these simple tips to keep things in check:
