Initial Consultation Information

Comprehensive Naturopathic Nutrition initial consultation: Jan calls this the "major service" consultation because it is very thorough and includes several tests. You will most likely be asked to bring a urine sample with you for a urinary indicans test. This test checks for gut dysbiosis. Gut dysbiosis can result in many symptoms including bloating, fatigue, rashes, excess mucus production and flatulence to name just a few. Other tests include a cellular health analysis test, pH test and zinc status test. In addition, Jan asks new Comprehensive consult clients to keep a thorough food diary for the week or so leading up to their appointment and also to fill out a detailed health questionnaire online prior to the appointment. This is all so she can gain the most information about your current health to determine an effective program of care for you. You can be sure that your health concerns will be taken seriously. This initial consultation takes 70 minutes and the fee includes the tests mentioned above.

Follow up appointments are extended (50 mins) and 30 minutes depending on your needs. If supplements are needed as addional support, they are an extra  cost. You can pay with eftpos, credit card or cash. You can claim Jan's fees if your private health cover includes Nutrition.

Jan often asks her clients to keep a food diary and email it in weekly so that she can help them keep on track.
