Flourless Chocolate Cake with Berries

​This is a lovely light rich-flavoured chocolate cake that is gluten-free.  Use fresh berries in season if you can, or buy organic frozen raspberries. You can make a berry coulis to serve with the cake if you like: puree 200g berries with 1 tbs pure icing sugar and a dash of orange liqueur then sieve to remove the seeds. Drizzle over the cake before serving.
The cake keeps well in an airtight container for a day or two... if it isn't eaten first!

Apple + Passionfruit Crumble

This recipe is not gluten-free as it contains wheat flour and oats. You can substitute the flour with buckwheat flour and the oats with quinoa flakes to make it gluten free if you like. 
It is a delicious winter warmer dessert with lots of good fibre for healthy digestion.

Pavlova is long thought of as a "no-go" zone when it comes to healthy eating. However, for an occasional treat if you are going to have a pav, have one that is a little better for you. 
I have created this recipe with just that thought in mind and it is a real winner at every party. You don't need to mention that it's lower in sugar and fat because no-one will even notice it's so good.
